Yarn Wedding Ideas

I can’t knit to save my life but that’s never stopped me from persisting and trying to knit scarves. In fact, I still have the unfinished blue scarf I started knitting for my now husband 6 years ago! I should really dust it off and get cracking. That said, I still love yarn – I love the different shades of colour and textures available and the rustic and vintage feel of it. Lately I’ve noticed a lot of weddings incorporating spools of yarn or thread and it got me thinking about all the ways yarn can be used in weddings. Luckily for those knitting challenged souls like myself, there are so many ways to incorporate this simple yet inexpensive element into your parties or wedding without having to bring out the knitting needles. And the best part? Yarn comes in so many different shades, it won’t be hard at all to find something that fits in with your colour scheme.

So, get inspired with these fun and colourful ideas while I go and wrap all my kitchen storage jars in yarn. Happy wrapping peachies!

  • Thanks for including our yarn wrapped {LOVE} letters in your yarn roundup :)

I love the idea of adding yarn to wedding decor. And like you said, it comes in so many different colors that you don’t have to worry about not being able to find colors that match!
