This is a Hong Kong and Australian wedding blog about all things bridal and pretty – in other words, all things girly.
I am a self confessed overly organised recent bride with a hint of OCD, a passionate baker of all things sweet and yummy, a lover of all things colourful and a recent discoverer of her love for the creative planning process.
As cliche as it sounds, my new found love officially began a year and a half ago when I started planning my own wedding. Although, I do confess that in my younger days, I was one of those girls who found herself glancing at the pretty wedding dresses on display, flipping through the occasional bridal magazine and staring at pretty brides in awe as they walked by. I was one of those girls who had dreamed about her wedding day and when it was time to plan her own wedding, found herself so excited and happy trawling through endless wedding magazines and wedding blogs, that she continued to do so even after the wedding shenanigans were over. I had so much fun making our wedding unique to us and have fallen head over heels with the styling and planning process, thus inspiring me to start this blog.
So what can you expect from this peachy little blog of mine? I will blog about all things bridal, beautiful, inspiring and girly – to put it simply, things that make my heart leap, and hopefully yours too. I hope to be able to provide today’s bride with a simple yet useful resource to make your wedding planning process a little peachier. I will touch on all things wedding related with a focus on weddings in Australia and Hong Kong – starting with what inspired our wedding. I hope to share with you other beautiful weddings and ideas, help you find the perfect vendor, and hopefully provide you with a little bit of inspiration in between to help you create that beautiful wedding reflecting you and your partner as a couple. I believe in personalising your wedding and hope I can inspire you away from a cookie cutter wedding regardless of where you decide to hold that special day.
When your friends ask you how your wedding planning is going, I want you to be able to say “it’s simply peachy”.
I’m super excited about this new venture so can’t help but give you a sneak peek of what’s to come tomorrow! I see aeroplanes, flip flops, whispy parklands, sunshine and lots of laughter.
