Vintage Suitcase Wedding Ideas

If you’re having a vintage or country garden themed wedding or just want to add a hint of vintage detail, how about using old vintage suitcases as part of your wedding decoration? You can stack them up as fabulous decorations or use them as your table plan, escort or floral display or even as an alternative to your wishing well. Opened up, they can hold anything from plants to gifts to cards and are just so versatile – and the best thing? They’re so easy to get! You can find old suitcases at charity shops, antique shops or even online at Etsy. I’ve been rummaging through Etsy of late to look for some vintage suitcases to decorate our humble little abode to use as display storage and there are endless suitcases of all shapes, colours and sizes. You won’t find it hard to find one that fits your theme or colour palette.

If you’re worried about what to do with them after the wedding – don’t, because you can similarly use them in your home as storage for any and everything. In Hong Kong where storage space is an issue for most, hiding things away in these old and beautiful suitcases definitely adds a bit of retro fun to your home.

  • I really like this. Shabby Chic is definitely a type of Feng Shui, giving a peaceful, soft and feminine feel.
A very loving way of decorating making people want to come
in and relax, that is why it can also be known as the
    cottage feel.
