When it comes to engagement sessions, I often say, simple is best. It’s about two people celebrating their engagement to one another – a celebration of love after all and with that, you really don’t need much else. Armed with a simple chalkboard, sweet little red balloon and self-packed picnic lunch, this sweet duo spent the day doodling, laughing, hugging, smooching and just enjoyed each other’s company and to me, that’s just so wonderful. And when you have the lovely Chalk and Cheese Photography behind the lens to capture all the love between them, what more could you possibly ask for?
Groom Tom shares, “we hired a boat for the day in Berowra waters. Music, champagne and a beautiful dinner at Berowra waters inn. At the end of the night we found a secluded wharf with just the two of us and the moon and stars. I got down on one knee and popped the question. After securing the yes, I played a video message from her parents who were living overseas at the time. I called to get permission prior to the proposal and they helped me out with the video message. Many happy tears followed.“
