As soon as I saw the dreamy blush strapless ball gown from the Vera Wang Spring 2012 bridal gown collection, I knew it was time to put together my first Simply Peachy wedding inspiration board. There’s just something so romantic about the satin corset bodice, draped tulle skirt and overlay and the asymmetrical layering of organza petal, don’t you think? I went a little crazy with the blush tones after seeing the gown so this is a very girly inspiration board. Love it nonetheless because a girly pink still makes my heart flutter. Besides, what bride doesn’t like pink?
I love the different tones of pink. Adding gradual tonations of a colour is an easy way to add a bit of texture into your wedding and it’s so pretty too! You can’t go wrong with a splash of fuschia, red or coral to compliment the blush tones.
