A wedding filled with bright yellow, mint and teal details is sure to put a sunny smile on anyone’s face so it’s not surprising that I’m smitten with the whole lot of sweetness that is today’s wedding at the Hong Kong Country Club captured by Zosia Zacharia Photography. You really can’t go wrong with a sunny yellow mixed with cool mint and teal – it’s a sure fire combo for a gorgeous palette and this pretty celebration is living proof.

Zosia of Zosia Zacharia Photography shares, “John and Lucy grew up and met in Hong Kong so it seemed fitting to hold their wedding in Hong Kong, with their extended families traveling from around the world ranging from England to New Zealand to come to their wedding. John and Lucy’s wedding plans started with Lucy getting ready at the Mandarin Hotel with her family and bridal party. The girls all had their hair and make up done in the hair salon by talented resident team, which took up most of the morning. While John and his family and groomsmen had a quiet breakfast in Stanley. Their ceremony took place in St Annes church in Stanley, in the late afternoon among their family and friends. Their reception was held at the Hong Kong country club in a marquee over looking the beautiful coastline of Repulse Bay. Their guests were greeted to drinks on the lawn and a beautiful modern Asian theme of birdcages and cut out paper lanterns like old wood cravings. Over sized colourful pompoms hovered from the ceiling above their 100 or so guests. The guests were treated local and international cusine and the speeches were moving, witty and unusual with a chief brides maid making a speech.”
