I don’t know about you peachies, but in addition to my addiction to pretty stationery, I also have a major obsession with gift wrapping and packaging. A perfectly wrapped gift with a pretty tag will without fail put a smile on my face. It just makes me feel so special. Simple pleasures you might say, but you can’t deny how wonderful it feels to be greeted by a sweet gift that has a little thank you on it. So I’m really excited that the lovely Stephanie of Stelloberry Designs is here today again to share with you some super sweet thank you tags that you can add to your wedding favours or any gift for that matter! It’s the perfect little bit of paper goodness that I’m sure your guests will appreciate – and best thing about it? It’s free!
I have a bit of an addiction to swing tags. I’ve got them in all shapes and sizes and could keep adding to my collection forever. They’re just so versatile and can really be a stand-out feature of your gift wrapping, not to mention the fact that they’re super handy for that sweet word of thanks or little note.
So for weddings, you can imagine that favour tags are high on my priority list, despite being such a small part of the overall styling. And to indulge my obsession, I thought it’d be fun to create these printables to make it nice and easy for you to tag your favours in style!
- Scissors or a craft knife
- Good quality A4 cardstock
- 3mm hole punch
Download our free printable favour tags in navy, pink or sea green. There are two kinds of tags in each file – one page has tags with a little thank-you note, and one page has blank tags. The blank tags can be filled in with your names and the date of your wedding in the areas indicated.
Once you’ve filled in the tags with your details, print the file onto good quality cardstock.
Using scissor or a craft knife, cut out each of the tags. Then use a 3mm hole punch to punch a hole at the top of each tag.
Use ribbon that matches the tags and/or your wedding décor to thread the two types of tags together (one of the ‘thank you tags’ and one of the tags that has your names on it). Then attach both tags to your wedding favours.
These tags are super versatile so have a bit of a play around to make them work for you. Instead of adding in your names and the date into the printable file, you could add your own personal message. You don’t have to use both of the tags either. For example, try using only one (the one with your names and date of your wedding) to tie around your wedding invitations as an alternative to a bellyband.
You don’t even need to use these tags for weddings – you could use them to tie up your goodie bags at a birthday party or you can write in your own message and use them on your birthday gifts. The sky’s the limit!
