Happy Friday peachies! How was your week? Hope you’ve all had a good one! Mine has been really relaxing. My ankle and back are finally slowly recovering (yes, to say I’m injury prone would be an understatement) so things are returning to some normalcy which is nice. There’s not excuse to lay around in bed now though! I’m determined to go back to the gym now that I’m okay to and I know it will be super hard given my rather long hiatus but like I said, I’m determined. I think I’ll start this weekend… I’ll let you know how it goes *wink*. The hubby and I haven’t been the healthiest of late so we’re pretty determined to turn that around especially since Summer is around the corner and that means bikini season – the horror! So I plan on starting my fitness regime this weekend. What about you peachies? What are you up to this weekend? Staying healthy I hope!

I’m sure you’ve all heard of the tradition of having ‘something blue’ on your wedding day and most often than not, that little bit of ‘something blue’ is just a touch of blue added to the bride’s wedding day ensemble, like the garter for instance. But I’m thinking why limit it to that? Why not incorporate the ‘something blue’ throughout your entire wedding? ‘Something blue’ stands for purity, love and fidelity after all and those words encompass everything that a marriage is all about. Plus, wouldn’t a colour palette of dusty blue, powder blue and berry pink be make-your-heart-skip-a-beat romantic? Add touches of lace, twine, throw in some vintage books and you’ll have yourself a soft and romantic vintage wedding with a touch of shabby chic. Pretty right?

I have a lot peachiness to share with you all today peachies! This peachy vintage wedding at Bees River in Hong Kong beautifully captured by Isa Photography had me at the word “peach”. There’s so much to love about this vintage inspired garden wedding – not only were Stephanie and Derek blessed by the weather gods, their wedding was chock full of DIY, the peach, cream and grassy green colour palette was to-die-for, the florals by J.F Floral Couture were absolutely divine and they even had two adorable ponies join in on their special day as well! Can I get a ‘high five’ or what?

Bride, Stephanie shares, “Derek proposed in a hotel room decorated with loads of balloons which i absolutely love and it was the 1,500^th day of our relationship!

“One of my bridesmaids is a designer so she designed the corsage for my bridesmaids and boutonnieres for our groomsmen. The boutonnieres were in the shape of a leaf with a few buttons added on to symbolise ‘tying the knot’.”

“One of my most memorable moments was when my mom helped me get dressed into my wedding gown.“

“I loved my soft bouquet of peach English Garden Roses bouquet with garden foliage in light green and white.”

“One of my favourites of the day were the overall environment of the venue and the perfect weather on the day.”

I’m really excited about today’s post because it’s just so darn pretty. I meant, what better way to kick off a Tuesday that with some vintage high tea inspirations chock full of pretty details that would be perfect for a bridal shower! Styled so perfectly by Aleisha of Pretty My Love (whom I was lucky enough to get to know at Blogshop Sydney), this high tea epitomizes all things feminine, sweet and dainty and I just love it. Plus, what’s not to love when you’re surrounded by so much creativity as well as gorgeous natural surroundings?

Aleisha shares, “the brief was vintage inspired and on the beach for sunset cocktails, giving me great freedom to let my imagination run free and design and surprise them with a concept perfect for their occasion. The colour scheme was inspired by the beach at sunset, with varying hues of pinks, blues, beige and white.”

“The table design was intended to create a luxurious setting with lace placemat runners over a wooden sawhorse legged table, crystal vases with roses and a range of royal tea cups and high tea tiered stands. Kellie had arranged a cake that was shaped and decorated as a vintage suitcase, so we hand-wrote guests names on luggage tags and attached to tea cups as place cards.”

“The drinks cart held a beverage dispenser where cocktails were served in handled mason jars with the prettiest floral striped straws and pink and white polkadot boxes for guests to fill with candy from the mini candy buffet.”

Happy Friday peachies! How has your week been? Hi peachies! Have you been getting down and DIY-ing lately? If you’re cringing at my question now because you’ve been too busy to DIY or are finding it hard to find a quick and simple projects for your big day, fret not as Stephanie of Stelloberry Designs is here today to share her super chic napkin band printables which are just too darn pretty. It’s the perfect super simple DIY that adds the right amount of detail to your table napkins, an item that is often overlooked by couples. All you need is a printer, some scissors, double-sided tape and paper! Easy peasy! Don’t believe me? I’ll leave you with Stephanie to convince you.

I may not be an event planner or stylist, but there’s something about a beautifully styled table that captivates me. I can see how much care has gone into every element on the table, from the glassware and the florals to the crockery and of course the stationery!

If you’d like to dress up your table for your wedding or your next event, try using these napkin bands to add an element of rustic charm. They’re super simple to DIY and are a really unique way of greeting your guests as they take their seats.

Materials

• Scissors or craft knife
• Glue or double-sided tape
• Kraft paper (or any other paper that matches your table styling)

Step 1
Download and fill in our free rustic napkin band printable in the areas provided with yours and your partner’s names and the date of your wedding. Then print out the bands onto an A4 sheet of kraft paper and cut out each band with scissors or a craft knife.

Step 2
Lay the band in the centre of your folded napkin, then fold the ends of the band around the napkin so they meet at the back (you’ll need to make sure you fold the napkin so that the ends of the band can overlap).

Step 3
Using glue or double-sided tape, stick the ends of the band together at the back of the napkin where the ends overlap.

And there you have it! A simply stunning place setting for your wedding or next event.

Note: You can put any text you like in the fillable areas, so feel free to get creative with the wording!

See? Easy right? No excuse not to DIY now peachies. Enjoy!
