I’m going to be completely honest with you and say that I’m still kind of psyched after Anita and Robert’s Parisian farmer’s market inspired engagement session, so it’s only fitting that I’m a little smiley today as I share their elegant Sydney nuptials. Plus it’s one of those weddings that you just know was fun. I mean, just look at how much laughter was in the air with the lovely duo and their bridal party! Once again captured perfectly by We Are Origami Photography, it’s perfect way to help you get through hump day.
Bride, Anita shares, “Rob and I met through our mutual friend. I was out with my best friend one night and we met a group of mutual friends. I was introduced to three guys in the group and was quickly asked by a friend, upon meeting them, who would be of interest. I quickly pointed at Rob without any hesitation. Rob struck up a conversation with me and we spoke all night. By the end of the night we had exchanged numbers. It wasn’t until the fourth day Rob called me out for a quick lunch which was the starting point for us in getting to know each other a bit better. Over the weeks we met after work for cheap dinner in the city, as well as drinks, and after a month of seeing each other we became official. We cannot remember when exactly was our official date so we decided the first day we met on the 12th January would be our anniversary date.
Rob said he loved me in Melbourne after 3 and half months into the relationship. Looking back, it was funny when we got to the stage he wanted to tell me he loved me. He first had asked me if I loved him, to which I replied “do you?” We have been together for over 6 years and every minute of every day has been so incredibly wonderful. Rob has been so supportive of me over the last 6 years, whether it would be to support my career or fitness goals. One thing our friends like to call us is “Robnita” instead of Rob and Anita. I sometimes refer to him as Robbish because he always uses the word “rubbish”. We tend to not take life so seriously and love to laugh as much as we can, till our stomach hurt.”
