Easter Wedding Ideas and Inspirations

Happy Easter peachies!

To kick start your Easter holidays, I have just the wedding inspiration for you – an Easter themed do!

When you say the word ‘Easter’ you don’t naturally think of weddings. Instead the things that come to mind are the abundance of sugar high treats, gorgeous spring blooms and the pretty pastel palettes of yellows, peaches, green, oranges, pale blues and creams. You rarely hear of an Easter themed wedding. But why not – because isn’t a wedding filled with yummy foods and treats, beautiful florals and pretty palettes? An Easter bridal shower or wedding theme is perfect for the change to Spring weather and you can incorporate practically any of the usual Easter goodies into any aspect of the day. Imagine scattering gorgeous eggshell votives around your reception table – that sounds amazingly sweet to me.

These centrepieces are adorable and super sweet! You might need to eat quite a fair few cartons of eggs to make enough eggshell votives but aren’t they just the cutest? I love the idea of incorporating eggshells into your centrepieces. It’s such a simple way to tie in the Easter festivities without going too crazy.

I love this Easter egg table weight by Martha Stewart. Wouldn’t it be perfect for holding down those pretty table clothes on a windy Spring day?

How about these adorable jelly bean carrot wedding favours or muslin bunny rabbit favour bags?

Tie in the colourful theme with some colourful bakers twine or paper straws.

No Easter celebration would be without some delicious treats. These would be perfect for a cake or dessert table –  I LOVE the Easter bunny macarons!
