I love weddings that reflect the couple’s story and today’s lovely wedding gorgeously captured by Silk Truffle Photography is one of those. Carmen and Mark married exactly 7 years after the day they first met, at the beautiful Aqua Dining overlooking Luna Park where they had their very first date. So sweet and sentimental right? Oh I love that Carmen’s favourite colour is peach – totally deserves a high five in my books! With all the fun and sweet details, peachy touches, stunning Sydney Harbour backdrop, Carmen and Mark’s wedding brings all kinds of warmth to my heart and I am so happy to be able to share it with you all today.
Bride Carmen shares, “We met at a mutual friends birthday. We got married exactly seven years after the day we met.”
“Mark surprised me by proposing the day before our first holiday together to Hawaii. He took me to the place where we went on our first date, Luna Park, and proposed on the Ferris wheel. Our reception venue was right next to that Ferris wheel.”
“My bouquet consisted of David Austin Roses with Babies Breath, pink and ivory Roses, Dusty Miller, white Lisianthus and white Stock Tips.”
“My favourite colours are peach and coral so it was used throughout the wedding. The groomsmen’s ties and bridesmaid’s dresses were peach. There were also peach and coral in the flowers for the bouquets and at the reception.”
“I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing the table decorations at the reception turned out. We had flowers in coloured vintage vases and tea light candles. Our wedding favours really added to the look with miniature bottles of pink moscato with gold and peach coloured thank you tags.”
