Breakfast Engagement Session by Kayelle Photo

There is one thing that I love doing on the weekends and that’s cooking breakfast or brunch for the hubby. I’m talking eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, the occasional pancakes and yummy pastries. I mean why go out for brunch when you can have it in the comfort of your own home? After looking at this adorable session from Kayelle Photo, I’m happy to see that I’m not the only one who likes to whip up a delicious mouthwatering breakfast at home to kick start the weekend. Pity the hubby doesn’t help me though! I just love that this adorable duo have taken their love for coupled cooking and crafted an engagement session around it making for some super sweet and beautiful images – ones that capture them doing their daily grind in really cute couply outfits.

Bride to be Clare shares, “Kin proposed when we were hiking at Zermatt in Swiss last September. It came as a total surprise as I really didn’t expect it. It was sweet but not as romantic as you might think… because I was in a bad mood that day. He had dragged me to the opposite side of the lake to take pictures but our hiking route was actually in the other side so I told him I didn’t want to waste energy to walk back and forth just to take a picture as I wanted to reserve my energy for the rest of the trip – it was only 10 in the morning and we still had a long way to go! Still, he insisted he wanted to take the picture there so I followed very reluctantly and when he set the camera on a rock to take picture, he ran forward and knelt down with a ring in his hand! He recorded the whole thing and you can imagine how embarrassed I was – I looked really pissed at the beginning of the video!”

“We wanted the pictures to show the real us and I wanted to make sure when we look at the pictures again in 10 or 20 years’ time, we wouldn’t be cringing at any ridiculous poses and the like.”

“These photos reflect exactly how our typical weekend is like. We wake up and cook together in the morning, then head out to a park for a little picnic. I really like that the photos show who we are and what we love to do.”
