A few weeks ago, I ooh’d over the beautiful images Jada Poon Photography shot of Awon Golding‘s new collection of bridal headpieces and now I’m here to announce Awon Golding is launching her workshops in Hong Kong! So on a few days in February and March, you can learn how to make your own headpieces from one of the best.
(1) Sinamay & Feathers Headpiece Workshop
In this 3 hour workshop, you’ll learn how to make an elegant twisted sinamay headpiece complete with hand-cut feathers and Swarovski crystals. You’ll learn the tricks of the trade and come out with knowledge of couture feather cutting, manipulation techniques as well as other millinery basics and take home a unique headpiece that you can wear to your next event!
Dates: Wednesday 27 February 2013 (6:30pm – 9:30pm) & Saturday 9 March 2013 (1pm – 4pm)
In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to make a vintage-inspired veiled floral headpiece – the perfect addition to any fashionista’s wardrobe! You may enter the workshop a beginner but you’ll leave a pro at the art of draping veiling and hat trimming!
Dates: Saturday 2 March 2013 (1pm – 4pm), Wednesday 6 March 2013 (6:30pm – 9:30pm) & Wednesday 20 March 2013 (6:30pm – 9:30pm)
