Autumn shoots always win my heart in every way possible. I mean, what’s not to love about the cosiness of Autumn, its refreshingly crisp weather and the gorgeous tones of oranges, browns, golds and reds it produces, not to mention the beautiful falling leaves? With Hong Kong approaching its hotter months, I find myself dreaming of those crisp Autumn months. Timed to perfection, I recently received this beautiful set of images from an Autumn wedding inspiration shoot from Anna Bowkis Photography. It’s like Anna read my mind. Having recently relocated to Hong Kong, Anna is here to add her English touch to weddings in Hong Kong and I couldn’t be more excited about sharing her beautiful shoot with you all today.
Anna shares, “All photographers need to work on personal projects, its great for our creativity. I love working on styled shoots. Back in the summer of last year in the UK I started working on putting together a bridal styled shoot. I chose an Autumnal theme as I knew I would be shooting in October. I love autumnal colours, the rich and golden hues of oranges, golds and reds.”
“I knew I didnt want a traditional bridal theme and wanted to mix it up a bit! Charlotte Wilden makes the most beautiful bespoke wedding dresses and she custom designed the colour sash to work on this project, along with Katherine of Madrugar who designed the hats for this shoot!”
