An Intimate Hong Kong Spring Wedding by Isa Photography

I just about died and went to heaven when I saw this wedding – the blissfully intimate and cozy venue, the eclectic cool groom, the stunning bride – don’t even get me started on her gown and hairpiece. And the photographs that Isa Photography snapped – well, they are just gorgeous. From the sweet wedding altar to the table arrangements to the loving messages to the perfectly delicious dessert table, not to mention all the laughter, I am madly and crazy in love with this charming and intimate wedding.

Isa of Isa Photography shares, “It was funny because I was asking for Claudia’s bouquet to photograph in the morning. And then she realised she had completely forgotten about the bouquet until then. So she made a call and her talented bridal party whipped up a bouquet in minutes!”

“Most of the decorations were DIY by the bridal party. A lot of the materials were purchased from Shamshuipo. I was particularly impressed by the feather pins for guests to wear which were all handmade by the groom himself. The dessert table was also all made and set up by the groom’s sister.”

“I loved their ceremony. A lot of couples spend so much money on their wedding day and tend to neglect the ceremony itself, which lasts for 15 minutes. But Claudia and Jason really put a lot of effort into making the ceremony a real celebration of their love.  Vows were extremely special and friends took turns to read poetry and sing songs dedicated to their love.”

“I’m extremely excited to be presenting to you one of the most amazing gallery weddings I’ve shot this year. Not only was Claudia and Jason’s wedding overflowing with DIY details, it was also filled with personality and emotion. I had a great time editing the photos because everyone was either laughing or crying in them. And I think it was really the perfect example of what a wedding should be about. It was an intimate gathering of closest friends and family to witness the love between two people, and I hope I was able to capture the best moments.”
