An Elegant Backyard Wedding by Mark & Kara

I’ve always been a huge fan of backyard weddings and even dreamed of one when I was planning our wedding (it was such a pity that our backyards weren’t quite equipped to deal with our oversized Asian families). Backyard weddings have such an intimate nature to them that never fails to give the tingles and this elegant wedding which took place in the Bride’s backyard was no different. I just love the rustic vintage decor complimented with the elegant chandelier that hung above the couple as they said their ‘I dos’. The photography from Mark and Kara are also beyond beautiful and completely captured all of the love and romance swirling in the air at this Sydney backyard wedding. You’re most definitely going to be feeling those warm fuzzies with this one peachies!

From the Bride, “we have known each other for 20 years, but we had our first special moment at a friend’s wedding.”

“I had visioned my wedding gown and knew exactly what I wanted, so I researched and found the perfect boutique that helped me create my vision.”

“Our wedding was a combination of everything we loved – from vintage to classic to traditional to cultural to create and customise a unique elegant wedding.”

“Our ceremony was about a simple native yet rustic look. Our favourite detail of the day was the ceremony with its unique touches and the attention to detail – from the alter, to the buffet, to the frame to the flowers – it was all perfect.”

“My advice to couples planning their wedding would be to listen to your partner and not everybody else. It’s about the two of you. It’s once in life time, so don’t hold back and go for whatever you dream or envision.”

What a coincidence, my fiance also wants to our wedding reception venue in Westella Renaissance but we selected the Sky lounge room http://westellarenaissance.com.au/sky-lounge/ instead of the Piano room. We are also planning if we can make the wedding ceremony and wedding reception in just one place to make it more convenient to our guest. Also, it can save us lots of hard earned money.
