Who doesn’t love a good celebration peachies? I know I do, and when it’s a long weekend of wedding celebrations, it just doesn’t get any better. Monica and Kai’s wedding was just that – spanning over three beautiful days in Hong Kong, this lovely pair made sure all their overseas guests got a taste of Hong Kong with their East meets West themed wedding celebrations. A weekend of wonderful fun with your friends and families is what weddings should be about, don’t you think? And when you have KC of KC Photography behind the lens to capture all the smiles and laughter and Tiara to make sure everything runs smoothly, it’s perfection.
Karen of Tiara shares, “Monica and Kai’s wedding is a very special one. Monica is Spanish and Kai is German. I met them about 5 months before their wedding. I remember when I first met them, they already had a clear idea of what they wanted (including their styles and preferences). They told me that a lot of their friends and families will travel from overseas to Hong Kong and they wanted their guests to have a taste of Hong Kong’ “East and West” dynamics.”
“It was a 3 day event, first day was at Lupa. Second day, mainly for overseas guests and it was a tour of Hong Kong. We booked the open deck bus travel to places including Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay. Upon arrival the pier, we arranged traditional Lion Dance before they boarded on Aqua Luna. It was also Kai’s birthday on their second day.”
“The third day was their main wedding day. For the ceremony, they wanted to have it in an outdoor area as well as to keep it romantic. In the end, they chose Upper House as their venue.”
” After the ceremony, all guests walked through the Hong Kong Park for photo shooting session. As well, we arranged a bus from the tram station to Kowloon side to attend their dinner banquet, which was at Hutong.”
“They chose Hutong as their venue because they really like their Chinese style and the view of the restaurant.”
