An Aussie Beach Wedding by Richard Grainger Photography

Being an Aussie at heart means I love anything sunny and beachy and have a particular fondness for beautiful beach weddings. There’s something about the casualness, intimate and laid back nature of beach weddings that just make me want to get my party hat on. I’m sure you’ll agree that beach weddings are so much fun! This touching beach wedding beautifully captured by Richard Grainer Photography is no exception. There’s no fussiness, no pretentiousness – it was just a special heartfelt celebration shared between close family and friends and that’s what matters.

“When I first met up with Jesse, we talked a little photography, a little wedding and lots of beach. Josh and Jesse got married at beautiful Redcliffe where green meets the sand, which looks on to a forever blue sea. When I first arrived on their wedding morning, I was welcomed by their beach view and an open veranda which lets the fresh, calm air, into their lounge.”

“The ankle bracelets, invitations in a bottle, wedding cake and decorations all tied in perfectly with their beach wedding. Starfish and shells were their trademark.

I love a barefoot bride!

“I have been to a few weddings now and each and everyone one of them have had their teary moments. But, when Josh and Jesse gave their vows to each other, was one of the most emotional moments I have ever witnessed.”
