I’m so excited to be able to finally share with you a shoot I styled alongside a group of wonderful vendors and captured so gorgeously by our peachy vendor Jada Poon Photography. Inspired by the ‘something blue’ tradition, we brought to life a palette of soft blues, lavender and blush and took garden romance to another level with breathtakingly gorgeous gowns created just for the shoot by Vivian Luk Atelier, a custom ribbon backdrop made by yours truly, dreamy florals by J.F Floral Couture, beautiful stationery by A Little Love Story, pretty cakes by A Legna Patisseries and our stunning model Celina Jade (who you might recognise from the hit TV Show ‘Arrow’) and her fiance.
I honestly don’t understand why we don’t see blue weddings in Asia more often – powder blue and ink blue paired with softer colours just ooze romance! I hope this shoot inspires Asian brides to ditch the superstitions about how unlucky the colour ‘blue’ is at weddings and embrace this beautiful palette. I mean, these are the kind of images that I could stare at all day long and go a bit Pinterest crazy!
I loved putting together this ribbon and lace backdrop! If you’d like one custom made for your next event, drop me an email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
