A Peachy Wedding by Fifteen Photography

I love a wedding full of peach and apricot tones and this beautifully heartwarming wedding captured by Fifteen Photography was just peachy perfect in every way possible. Sometimes weddings can be overly styled with tonnes of props which take away from the most important part of the day – the love shared between the Bride and Groom and their friends and family. It was really refreshing to receive these images in my inbox because all the raw emotions captured so perfectly by Fifteen Photography had me feeling what was felt on that beautiful day. All the hugs, the smiles, the laughter, the tears really warmed my heart and I hope they do yours too.

From the Bride, “Sam and I met through Facebook November 6 2008. Sam added me after he saw a photo that I was tagged in with his sister’s best friend. The first time we actually met was 2 weeks after. Sam organised a booking with an Italian restaurant called Roberto’s in Richmond. Which is unfortunately closed now.”

“The girls had peach dresses from Wedding Dress Bee who were great at communication and great quality. They sent out swatches before they started so that I could see the fabric colour beforehand. I had peach in my bouquet and on our wedding cake.

“Being a makeup artist myself, I couldn’t have just anyone do the makeup for my wedding, as I would be the biggest bridezilla of all time. So I decided to do all my bridesmaids makeup, plus my mum’s to make sure that everything was perfect!”

“My flowers were soft and fluffy like my dress! Ivory’s and cream for the girls, and mine had accents of apricot.”

“My most memorable moment was when my Dad sang a song for me, describing how he felt. My family doesn’t communicate that well with each other so it was very touching to hear his heart felt song.”

“Sam’s background is Calabrese Italian and his uncles and dad preformed a traditional tarantella with a Tamborine, accordion, and I forget the other instruments but it brought the authentic Italian way of celebrating a joyous occasion.”

“The venue was amazing, it was beautiful during the day and night, the staff were very professional and such a pleasure to have on our wedding day. Everyone loved the food!”

“My advice for couples planning a wedding would be to do as much as you can together, sharing the stress of organising a wedding will bring you closer, and make the night more rewarding.”
