A Bright and Cheery Wedding by Daniel K Cheung Photography

I love nothing more than a bright and cheery wedding because isn’t that exactly what weddings should be like? I always say a pop of colour goes a long way and am a big believer that the brighter the details, the happier the celebration. Our lovely couple, Ces and Warren certainly subscribe to my thinking too as the bright and cheery yellows woven throughout their special day are indeed the ultimate proof. And with a rockstar team of vendors making their day oh-so special, this happy day captured beautifully by Daniel K Cheung Photography should not be missed.

“Warren and I met at a work function. We were both working in retail while studying at uni and we were invited to a launch for a new clothing item. I remember not wanting to go to the event, but being dragged by my best friend/co-worker. Lucky I did, because I meet Warren!”

“My most memorable moment was walking down the aisle and seeing Warren waiting for me.”

“I work with my wedding gown designer’s sister. I had looked at a couple of stores previously, but I could find the ideal one. I was recommended to see Sherry (the designer) and I’m very glad that I did. Sherry is AMAZING. She created a design, based on what I liked. I kept receiving comments on the night, that the dress was very “me” I could not have asked for anything more.”

“I was inspired by the bright and fun designs on Butterfly Philosophy’s website and loved the billy buttons that I saw. These were featured as the button holes for the boys and bouquets.  The flowers on the day were fun and bright. We were inspired by our friend’s Annie and Will, who had their wedding Ceremony at Stanwell tops also where we walked away from that wedding thinking, wow.”

“My advice to couples would be to hire Robyn Pattison as your wedding celebrant! She is simply the best! Make sure you have a group of fantastic suppliers who are easy to work with on the day. Daniel K Cheung and his co-worker Tai (our photographers) were so easy to work with, they blended in with the days events. We are very impressed with the photos we’ve seen so far. Lei and Leon our videographers were also great, like our photographers they were very easy to work with. Make sure you have a make up artist with a fantastic reputation and you trust like Amy Chan!”

Robyn Pattison shares, “Cesarie and Warren were always going to be. Cesarie knew that this day would come on the day they first met. She was right. Seven lucky years from their first date, a nervous Cesarie fooled us all into thinking she was every bit the cool, calm and collected bride – and Warren had eyes only for her. And after the ceremony, a quiet “we did it!” and a hug….. aaaah! When everything simply falls into place, and the clouds roll in, but refuse to rain, and everyone is smiling and laughing and nodding their heads  – and that’s just the beginning….then that’s the best kind of wedding of all. Cesarie and Warren, you are simply a joy. Congratulations!”
