10 Creative Wedding Backdrops (Part II)

A while back I shared a few of my favourite wedding ceremony backdrops and today I have a few more backdrop ideas to share that I’ve fallen in love with since. Whether you’re looking for a backdrop for your wedding ceremony, reception, photo booth or even dessert table, these would be the perfect bit of creativeness to help set the mood and showcase your style and theme throughout the day. Why not think outside the box and ditch the names on backdrops that are so commonly seen in Asia and consider some of these ideas.

1. Hanging Geometric Backdrop

I love hanging backdrops and when they’re as cute and vibrant as this geometric one, it just tickles my heart silly. Its colour and playfulness sing celebration and it would be absolutely wonderful to say your vows in front of or even get downright silly with in your photo booth! Hanging backdrops also make for great DIYs so if you’re looking to get crafty, perhaps a backdrop is calling your name?

With endless colours of crepe paper to choose from, you can pretty much put together any colour combo to suit your wedding colours. All you need are crepe paper and scissors and voila! Backdrops made from wallpaper like this vintage one are beautiful. You can stick to one pattern or mix a variety of patterns to create something that’s totally unique and you. With all the endless wallpaper designs around these days, you’ll be spoilt for options! If you’re up for the task of creating one of these yourself, you just need to affix the wallpaper to a foam or wooden board with spray adhesive to secure. Another great DIY!

5. Fabric Backdrop
